The transportation meteorological environment monitoring system consists of front -end monitoring sensors, data transmission centers, and background software centers. Obly observed meteorological elements include conventional weather (temperature, humidity, speed, wind direction, rainfall, atmospheric pressure, etc.), visibility and pavement conditions (road temperature, dry and humid conditions, freezing, etc.). In the monitoring center host, the host finally uploaded the information received through the wireless network or wired network (Ethernet/RS485) to the monitoring center, and the monitoring software running in the monitoring center for data storage, analysis, display, and processing.
The configuration of the transportation meteorological environment monitoring system is flexible, and various observation sensors can be flexibly configured according to the needs. The visibility, temperature, humidity, rainfall, pavement conditions (surface temperature, dry and wet condition, icing) monitoring along the highway monitored and collected can be transmitted to the monitoring center in real time through the network. The warning information is used to improve the safe driving level of highways to achieve intelligent early warning and management.
